VAC Membership

Being a VAC Member has its advantages! We offer two types of Membership: 1) Full Entertainer Member (performing artist and associated trades); 2) Associate Non-Entertainer Member; Full Entertainer and Associate Member memberships are both $45 per year.

Associate Non-Entertainer Members and Youth Members may not vote on changes to the Club’s constitution, but all are welcome to attend the annual AGM and have a say on the running of the club. (Details of upcoming AGMs are published on our Events News page when relevant).

All financial members receive a monthly communication, typically sent towards the end of each month, plus access to the club’s Facebook group site. All members are welcome to submit entertainment related material to feature, and to contribute to our Facebook page.

All membership applications are subject to committee approval, as per the VAC constitution. You will be advised when your membership application has been considered / approved, and your membership fees will then become due. Please use the form below to apply.

All membership fees become payable each year at the start of the clubs financial year on 1 October, but membership cards carry a 31 December expiry date to allow a three month grace period for payment. Fresh cards are issued each year as fees are paid.

Full Entertainer Members Receive:

Monthly communication, typically sent towards the end of each month, plus access to the clubs Facebook group site.
Invites to member only functions, when applicable.
Discounted entry to the monthly Entertainers Nights at the Pt. Chevalier RSA upon presentation of your membership card. A door fee applies (Members $5, others / guests are typically $10 or $15).
Your membership card will also allow you entry at members rates to club nights held by the Auckland Jazz & Blues Club nights with whom the VAC has reciprocal arrangements.
Discounted prices for the annual awards night.
Nomination and voting rights for the annual awards.
